yes. I made two tests: 1st did a tour around then back to garage and the next morning the pool; 2nd clean up and left it for a day - same story.
Got the YSS shocks this week will replace then refurbish the originals.

Re: shock absorber replacements
I found some nice information and photos here: https://www.gazzz-garage.com/2016/06/30/zephyr-kayaba-rear-shocks-repairrepack-part-1/ thought it could be useful for the Zephyrs I'm also attaching a picture of my shock leak - I guess my riding style is too hard for my old Zephyr (or I'm too heavy :D )

shock absorber replacements
my Zephyr 550 surprised me this morning - while saddling up to work saw that large oil spot in the garage below the left shock absorber. Thought of getting these ones https://www.louis.be/artikel/yss-schokdemper-instelbaar/10046162?filter_article_number=10046203 while finding the time to refurbish t...

yes, I'm concerned. The filings are really fine...they have just grown along the field lines. Wonder thought what parts are made of magnetic material.hugojose wrote: ......If those are metal filing, I'd really be concernend.

magnetic oil drain plug
for those who are interested, here is the picture of the magnetic oil-drain plug. Was sceptical about it but it seems it works. I don't know if the oil goes to the filter after the drain-plug or before. Also the filings might be much finer and what we see is just the build up. That is installed on m...

Re: airbox to carb ducts
...I’m planning to refit mine over the weekend, and I’m going to enlist the hairdryer to soften them up a bit when I do. I’ve put the new ones in the middle leaving the harder ones on the outside where I can force/manipulate them a bit easier. Will be interesting to follow your results! be careful,...

Re: airbox to carb ducts
yeah they are so hard that I gave up installing them. My bike was in very poor condition when I got it 10 years ago, there are plenty of things that were and are not right (thanks to previous owner exploiting it badly); For several years it is back in reasonable health but far from being finely tune...

airbox to carb ducts
has anyone adapted a rubber hose to replace the original rubber ducts? Any hints on how to attach them to the airbox? I thought of fitting something inside to expend them and fit within the airbox opening.
Also any good supplier of that ones will be useful .
