All I run in my bikes are Iridium. What part number of NGK Iridium are you using? They are also available in Projected and Non-Projected Tip.

Re: zr550 exhaust
In Japan, the GPz400 and ZX400 have the same port spacing as the GPz/KZ/ZR550.

Re: Eddie's 1100 Rebuild
I have only ever used clean brake fluid on my master cylinder and caliper rebuilds. My thought here is that assembly grease could contaminate the brake fluid used, even if you bleed the system, as it might not all come out, or will over time. Just a thought.

Re: 17 tooth gearbox sprocket zr550
Play with this site: https://www.gearingcommander.com/ Back in 2003 when I acquired my first GPz550, I wanted to get the best gas mileage, so I kept the stock 38 rear and went with the largest front, 17. Over time I have messed with different rears(40 and 42), and other fronts(16 and 15). I do know ...

Re: Chain slack - 750
I have removed my center stand years ago, and with a 4-1 aftermarket exhaust, use a Pit Bull Rear Stand to clean and adjust my chain. I agree, the suspension movement on our streetbikes is not a much as any off-road bike.

Re: Chain slack - 750
I also think chain technology has changed over the years, but chain slack, regular maintenance, and alignment, will make it last. Motion Pro just came out with a chain slack tool, but I haven't used it. https://www.motionpro.com/product/08-0674 I came across this very cool chain alignment tool years...

Re: zr550 California fuel tank?
I am betting that is CA only and an emission thing. I ran across the same thing with the ZX550 Tank, and haven't seen another as mine had additional underside nipples for this stuff. One went to the charcoal cannister, and the other went to the airbox. If you don't have a copy of the ZR550 Kawasaki ...

Re: Eddie's 1100 Rebuild
You could switch to a remote reservoir Master Cylinder. Staying Kawasaki, and not going Brembo, I used one from a ZX636, then used the same year clutch perch assembly. This allows me to use Pazzo 6 Position Adjustable Standard, or Shorty Levers, as MY GPz didn't come with adjustable levers. I see yo...

Re: Throttle cable alternative
I don't know it your are in The States or not, but I'd recommend sending an e-mail to Motion Pro as they have a Custom Cable Department that does just that all day long. There is more to a cable than just length, and they can help. I am running a Motion Pro Rev2 Throttle Assembly on my CV32, Telefix...

Re: oil coolers
What size are you planning on adding? Picture and dimensions? Just as long as air gets too and through the larger cooler, it will work. That is why I replaced my stock GPz550 Oil Cooler with a ZR550/ZR750 Cooler. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v97/CoreyClough/Coreys%20GPz550%20Pics/GPzandZephryOi...
