It sucks when you do everything right and they still find a way to get you. Hope you can find enough parts to repair it.

I have no ties to this business, but there is a pristine Zephyr 550 being auctioned off at Kaplan Cycles, which I believe to be in Connecticut or thereabouts. The video is posted to YouTube, which is where I saw it. If ties to bike sales are prohibited, I apologize.

Stereodinary, you aren't the only American on this site, I have a Zephyr 550 and live in western New York. You are the only American who feels the need to inject politics into a forum that provides a lot of good information regarding Zephyrs.

Hi, I purchased a replacement gas tank for my Zephyr 550 (thank you DaftRusty) that has the 2 extra vent fittings on the bottom for the California required emissions cannister and separator. Hi, really nice looking bike. Is that a solid color with just the lights above reflecting off the paint? Feel free to post more pictures. Are you in an area where you are not allowed to be out at all? because it seems like motorcycling is the most self distancing thing you could do. -Dan

Sorry, I forgot to add that I de-rusted the tank using oxalic acid and as it has no leaks, I am going to run it with no sealer. The oxalic acid (wood bleach) leaves a rust free surface that I coated with diesel fuel until I get ethanol free gas in it.
