Re: Clutch arm - Zephyr 750

Re: Restoring Zephanie

What brand and type of spark plugs you running? The after market manual says they should be NGK D9EA (for B1 and B2 US models). DR9EA for all other models.

DR9EIX is the platinum alternative for both original plug types.

I had been running stock shocks and fork springs until just yesterday, when I installed new Öhlins KA143 shocks. And I’ve got some RaceTech springs to install in the front. Bridgestone BT45 tires. Perhaps...

Re: Zephyr Front End Swapability

Might seem a couple strange related questions, but bear with me

2. What tires (tyres) are you running?

Re: Dripping carbs

What I would do .... remove the fuel tank, and place it on a stand or bench near the bike at a height above the carbies. Connect the fuel tap to the existing disconnected fuel line with some appropriate size plastic hose and a joiner (Sold in any decent hardware shop). You will likely have to bleed ...

Re: Dripping carbs

Turn the fuel tap to PRIME position. Wait a few minutes. Now turn the fuel tap to the RUN position. Disconnect the vacuum line from the back of the fuel tap, and plug it with a small bolt of the correct size. Start the engine, and run it till it completely conks out from running out of fuel. Now tur...
