Re: hard ride problem solved

Re: hard ride problem solved

The correct length spacer is that which gives the correct amount of 'rider sag' for whatever springs have been installed. If I understand it correctly, it seems clear the springs have been changed. Re: Clutch arm - Zephyr 750

DR9EIX is the platinum alternative for both original plug types.

Re: Zephyr Front End Swapability
1. what shocks and springs are you running on the back? 2. What tires (tyres) are you running? I had been running stock shocks and fork springs until just yesterday, when I installed new Öhlins KA143 shocks. And I’ve got some RaceTech springs to install in the front. Bridgestone BT45 tires. Perhaps...

Might seem a couple strange related questions, but bear with me
1. what shocks and springs are you running on the back?

Re: Dripping carbs
What I would do .... remove the fuel tank, and place it on a stand or bench near the bike at a height above the carbies. Connect the fuel tap to the existing disconnected fuel line with some appropriate size plastic hose and a joiner (Sold in any decent hardware shop). You will likely have to bleed ...

Re: Dripping carbs
Turn the fuel tap to PRIME position. Wait a few minutes. Now turn the fuel tap to the RUN position. Disconnect the vacuum line from the back of the fuel tap, and plug it with a small bolt of the correct size. Start the engine, and run it till it completely conks out from running out of fuel. Now tur...
