Re: Practical sportsbike mag

There's a guy on youtube doing a series on restoring & flipping a 750.

It kind of shows what happens to them. :(

Re: What have you done today, Zephyr-wise?

I've been to Beddgelert in Snowdonia, 180 miles round trip. Nice weather good riding, but I am going to have to do something about that seat. Numb bum after an hour.

The airbox makes a big difference on these bikes, try to get it put back together correctly.

If you own a 750 its par for the course. Mines exactly the same.

Re: Fuel system tips, anyone got carb diagrams?

The parts fiche has a diagram. https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/3205198/zr750-c4-1994-luminous-vintage-red-gb/carburetor-parts-1-2 I find Fowlers good for online ordering, if you can't get to your local dealer. Just realised youve got a 550, but the Parts diagram is on the Website for all 3 Mode...

Re: What have you done today, Zephyr-wise?

I've started going to work on mine. 25 miles each way, no traffic, good weather. Up until now it's been great. Normally I would manage once a week If I was lucky, but since lockdown I've been doing 3 or 4 every week. It is sharing duty now with a Triumph Legend.
