Re: Jrkk's 1100 cafe build

Killing time in covid-19 lockdown.
My cnc guy finally came trough.
Really pleased for outcome, need some paint though.
Had done serious engine rebuild, but i share that later, I'm so depressed with this covid-19 situation, that I have not found motivation to post anything.

Re: Pushrod 1100

Yes, you can slide it out, lubricate and slide back in.
Add some Vaseline to end of it and inside mastercylinder cup, the area that touches pushrod.
Another end is having constant oil.

Yes I did, with expensive tools from work and cross measuring fork dimensions to existing top yoke.

Re: Jrkk's 1100 cafe build

I also designed bigger intake Airbox cover, never printed it, so not sure about it.
Top yoke designin was pita, as there was so many angles.
If someone want to try my airbox cover mod, I can share stl.

Re: Jrkk's 1100 cafe build

Hi Ivor.
I did it easy and "dumb" way, just drill 5mm hole then 6mm threads, then with strongest loctite to secure them.
There should be welded nuts under swing, to be proper.
Those has been used maybe hundreds of times and no any kind of problems. Although swing is weaker now.

Re: Jrkk's 1100 cafe build

It's been a while since last post. I had problems with carbs and season ends mid September. So I will continue carb tuning next season. This winter's to do list was long, but I think that I'm not gonna do all of my plans. I started with rear brake mod, copied from Gazz. https://www.gazzz-garage.com/...

Re: Hello from new member

To my knowledge there are not major changes in 92 to 96 models. And in Japan there is rs version 2007, also very small changes.
Manual and good info here:
