I had a similar problem with my old Z1000 . In the end it turned out to be the resistors kept failing in the spark plugs (so in that case I bought NGK B8-ES instead of B8R-ES , the R denoting resistor) hope you get it running ready for when we're allowed to go out next.....

I always use semi synthetic oil because fully synthetic oil makes my clutch slip when I wring its neck

like freddy says , I use the centre stand mostly as ive had my S1000rr topple off paddock stands, if I need to use both paddock stands to change the tyres I always tie a rope round the handle bars and to the garage rafters just in case
