Sorry I tried the youtube button to show the video on here but I can't get it to work, but if you use the link above it hopefully you'll see a video of my bike finally running :D

it needs a dyno session to set the pod filters up but seems to run pretty good really and sounds great with the silencer off, tempting to leave it with an open pipe!

Progress has been very slow lately with work and stuff getting in the way and I'm well behind where I wanted to be with it, my June deadline to have it finished is not looking good  still loads to do

cheers eddie

Now that is looking and sounding bloody nice eddie, I think that you have done a fabulous job there... Shame that you are a bit behind schedule but its best not to rush a piece of art :D

It will be good to see you at Reading with or without the bike either way it doesn't matter :)

Started stripping down the callipers now, had a hell of a job getting the pistons out, compressed air only shifted a couple so bought a special tool that grips the inner surface....that got a couple more out so then had to resort to a bearing puller with slide hammer to get the remaining ones out! The pistons are all in great shape so just had to buy all new seals and clean the calliper bodies up ready for paint. (Black)

Cleaning is taking longer than I thought, that crusty old brake fluid takes some shifting without damaging anything :)

I'm still waiting for the Swingarm to be finished at the polishers, so it's still a one wheeled Zephyr .....and still haven't got the bodywork off to paint yet.....seems a never ending job!!

And the bodywork has gone off to paint, a very local guy to me who's been custom painting bikes for decades :) I've played safe a bit and gone for a candy cobalt blue, but who knows what will come back, i told him no skulls or flames though!! Should be painted just before Reading show, it's that close to being finished

Callipers lall done, I ground off the original raised lettering and replaced with white "Tokico" stickers on black painted calliper bodies, looks good I think,
