Track day done, first day was ok, second was raining , so we pack our bikes and left home.
I finally received pilotjets and plan is install them tomorrow. Let's see.

I meant to go test ride today with carbon edit, but weather was against me, and I got stuck with my track bike. Little fine tuning with yamaha's yms software. Nice when you can do all with computer.
Tomorrow I will take zephyr for a ride.

Ok, so I was wrong about pilot jet size. 30 was way too big. Idle is now 10.5 afr and if I turn fuel screw fully close it won't rise upper. Just of idle cruising is now 12 afr and 1/2 throttle about 14, wot is 10.
So, I need new pilot's, needles and mains. It's more than possible that jets what I ordered, is wrong size, but I figured that it's better to order them all at the same time, because of shipping time and costs.

So now there is coming 20 pilot's,(one size bigger than stock) richest needles and 130 mains ( smaller than stock 135).
Bike runs good though, but if my afr gauge is showing about right measurements, then it's no way near where it supposed to be.

My mikuni supplier has failed me and can't deliver jets.
D'oh, fortunately it's ritch side so i can ride with it.
Meanwhile I made some fork protector's. There was always insects and other derbies, so fork seals was in danger to damaged.

It's been a while since last post. I had problems with carbs and season ends mid September.
So I will continue carb tuning next season.

This winter's to do list was long, but I think that I'm not gonna do all of my plans.

I started with rear brake mod, copied from Gazz.

Then I started to play with Acad and 3d printer
to figure out new top yoke model.
Sliced model is now ready and I'm trying to find cnc guy who can do this for me. Fork roundings is cutted cos printer max dimensions.
And thin slice because of long printing time.

I was supposed to fabricate new seat as well, but I think I'm not very motivated to it.
I definitely must do valve clearance's.

looking great jr . them rear paddock stand bobbins you've put on the rear swing arm , were they easy to fit ? just drill and tap , or did you have to beef it up a bit ? need to put some of them on mine

Hi Ivor.
I did it easy and "dumb" way, just drill 5mm hole then 6mm threads, then with strongest loctite to secure them.
There should be welded nuts under swing, to be proper.
Those has been used maybe hundreds of times and no any kind of problems. Although swing is weaker now.

I also designed bigger intake Airbox cover, never printed it, so not sure about it.
Top yoke designin was pita, as there was so many angles.
If someone want to try my airbox cover mod, I can share stl.

Hi, how do you generate the .stl files?

I know 3D printing could be great for making parts like side panels etc, but was not sure how you would generate an accurate .stl image. I realise also then the bigger the part, the more expensive the 3D printer would be. Interesting technology
