polishing chainguard?

Hi has anyone polished the chainguard on there zef?
I want to on my 750 i thought it was silver paint on it but paint stripper wont touch it??
Any help would be great, thanks

actually im now thinking it could be anodised and not painted ?

Or .... don't polish it. Honestly, you really want to make any grease that flings off the chain to be even more noticeable? I routinely lubricate the chain, and so I'm routinely cleaning the rear wheel, chain guard, and rear swingarm.

i like the look of the polished ones ive seen, i lubricate my chain regularly too and use lubes that dont fling off only get the odd speck of lube on the wheel and quickly wipes off
