750 improvments

Post by David Richard »

Thought you might find this interesting, I have added a lifting handle using the tie down bolts under the seat to make it easier to put the bike on centre stand. It was a z1r lifting handle on ebay for 20 pounds and also a small rear hugger to stop dirt and small stones etc. falling on the swing arm, works great and looks ok as well. What do you think?

the lift handle really is a good idea :) both the 750 and (especially) the 1100 could do with this. The stand pivot point on both is well positioned; pretty much just press down hard and they go onto centre stand. Its just the extra 'security' of having that handle to grab that would make a big difference. Kawasaki should have fitted them as standard IMO.

Good idea.

For years mine was fitted with the Ventura rails for their bag system which did essentially the exact same job. But I recently removed them (just for looks). Straight away found it a little more awkward not having a hand hold in that spot.
