1100 boost sensor

Hi, does any one know if a hose is supposed to be attached to this boost sensor on my 1100 , and if so where does it attach to , cheers

Hi Ivor,mine has a hose attached which goes to a union joint that send hoses to carbs 2 and 3 and the vacuum pipe on the petrol tap.Hope this helps.Gordon.

you need to connect it to the Vaccuum ports at the Carbs - if not you loose one parameter of the ignition curve of the CDI.

Thanks . Think all the hoses are in the right places now. I managed to get her running although not very stable at the mo (need to constantly play around with choke, and when you rev it up the revs don't die back very quickly, they stay high for a while even though throttle has twisted back Propperly in time ) but i haven't managed to get the air box to carb rubbers on yet as they've gone too hard with age, so it's probably something to do with that.

The rubbers on mine were hard tried putting them in boiling water,went soft but then hard again,bought a new set for about 40 quid,made life so much easier.
