Post by TerryG »

Anyone know if my 1995 Zephyr 550cc is going to be E10 compliant?

hi terry you should be ok with that if you use it and dont leave it parked up over the winter months or just use super unleaded its just cleaner without all the nasty stuff in it that e 10 will corrode all the older stuff its designed to get it off the road ,

E10 isn't really compliant with anything fitted with a carburetor. It'll run, but certainly not as well as on the fuel for which the carburetor was jetted, because the inclusion of E10 has changed the air-fuel ratio. There are no oxygen molecules in pure gasoline (C5H12 to C7H16). Ethanol is C2H5OH
