1100 Exhaust

Post by Raven »

Some of you may have seen my query a few days ago about the noisy exhausts on my Zephyr 1100. I was advised by one of the members that the rear baffle had been removed from my silencers.

This evening I have made one baffle and almost completed another. The one I have fitted has significantly reduced the exhaust noise on one silencer so now hoping when the other one is fitted tomorrow that the exhaust will be a lot quieter.

Here are a few pic's of the DB killer I made.

Looks good, let us know what the finished exhausts sound like....
It would be nice if you could post a vid of the bike with and without the baffles :)

That is a very nice job! You must own a machine shop.
