Extra loop on 1100 forks

I've got this extra loop on the brake line bracket on my 1100 . Anyone know what's it's for? Or have I put this bracket in the wrong place ?

If it was a 750 it would because you've fitted the bracket the wrong way around. It would angle back, instead of forward. The speedo cable goes through that hole, as well as the plastic clip on the front guard.

My guess is this is the same on a 1100.
