There will be no set standard jet and needles size. Different jets and needles were fitted by Kawasaki depending on the country and date the bike was sold.

As a starting point, go to a website with an online parts schematic e.g. CMSNL, and from there you will see the full range of jets and needles that would have been fitted for the various countries (if you can make sense of the 'country codes'.

Other than that, the only certain way is to pull them out and inspect under one of those illuminated magnifier lamps.

P.S. If you've modified or removed the airbox a change in jet sizes isn't going to fix the problem.

That the needle is adjustable suggests to me it may not be stock, and if the needle isn't them reasonable to assume neither may be the jets.

I don't own an 1100, but most certainly the needle on the 750 doesn't have adjustable groves and clip. Looking at a parts schematic for an 1100 seems this is the same as the 750 type.

One way to tell if the jets are at least genuine (could still have been changed size wise) is the size number should be preceded by a small star (like a Star of David).

On the model I randomly selected there is no number 96 main jets. There are 92, 95, 98, 100, 102, 105. As it shows only 2 each of the 98/100 likely they were like the 750 with larger jets on cylinders 2/3 in that combination. All others show 4 were used.

For what it's worth, I stuck in the largest size main jets that were used into my 750 and the performance improvement was VERY noticeable. Retained same needles and pilots. This is at sea level, modest temperatures and humidity (i.e. Sydney).

With that problem, think I'd be contacting a carby specialist repairer to see if the float seat can be resurfaced. If so it would only be a quick job for them with the carby already stripped down.

They must have come across this same problem numerous times so could advise accordingly.
