engine color match?

Hi All! Has anybody found a good match for the original engine paint? I have a 1990 zr550, but I think it was the same greyish color on most if not all zephyrs (until the zephyr x, which came with black engines)

hi zaddict the best way i found was to take a part off the bike and if you have a paint supplier they can match it its a bugger ,

Thanks for the suggestion! I couldn’t find anyone that could custom
match high heat paint. In ended up going with an aluminum VHT engine enamel. Would have preferred stock color but I must admit the VHT looks nice.

Ford Mercury grey is quite close, did my calipers with it.
