Article regarding the snatchy throttle on the new Z900RS. Seems as long as you'd be happy with a touchy clutch or front brake on a new motorcycle its no big deal. These thing aren't flaws but rather 'quirks' to get accustomed to (once you've figured out how to rev match).

I particularity liked the following statement in the article .....

"Brent-the-chopper-guy’s last sentence resonates with me, too: I grew up with the idea that a big engine producing big horsepower isn’t going to always be a perfectly smooth-performing vehicle." How long since a 950cc engine producing 110hp was classified as either a big engine or producing big horsepower? Perhaps the retro look really transported them back back to the 1970's ????

P.S. My 750 Zephyr is going to be around for quite some time to come.
