Yes it's finished at last, I'm absolutely over the moon with how it turned out and can't wait to get back out on the road. It still needs a final tune up but runs and sounds great.

Stupid i know but just sitting on it outside of the shed off the ramp felt so good and it looks even better in daylight! Sadly it wasn't long before it started raining again so sorry for the not great photos.
Roll on next spring and see you at a meet somewhere

Cheers eddie

Eddie,
WELL DONE the bike looks fantastic… you must be well pleased with yourself :)
I did notice a little bit in the front calliper that could do with a bit of a touch up :o Only joking... Its perfect :D
I would def not be taking that out until the spring at the earliest....
Now what's the next project then? got any plans

Cheers guys and too everyone who commented on the thread, it does make a difference to hear any feedback during a long build, good or bad to keep spirits and enthusiasm up!.

Next project is already on the ramp, the Z1000 in the background of the last pic is already started on, it's in great condition already just needs some fettling and finishing off to make perfect and I'm going to put some spoked wider alloy rims on instead of the skinny cast mag wheels it currently has....After that I've got a XT500 supermoto and Honda monkeybike to do up, i must be nuts!!

Cheers eddie
