I only packed it in because the "War Office" demanded that I did! :x

The War Office in this household demanded that no more bikes made their way into the workshop until I had moved a couple on. Naturally I obliged by 'moving the Zephyr on' today, but only as far as the RH side of the workshop ....

wait til she sees my new 1980 Suzuki GS550ET that's now sitting in the vacated space ........

Besides playing with the carbies, fitted a new clutch cable to the 750.

In the process of disconnecting the clutch end of the cable and pulling it out of the way to make getting the carbies in/out easier discovered a few broken wires. Had a new one already sitting on the shelf so just stuck it in, simple 2 minute job (as both end were already disconnected).

Don't you just love having spares to hand Freddy :D Now back to the real world where Mr. Forgetful forgot to order his new valve cover gasket when he ordered his new head gasket + other bits
My valve cover gasket arrived today so the cam cover is now on, camchain tensioned, new carb inlets fitted, hopefully I'll be getting the carbs back on after a bit of grub.
