Rubber bracket

When I rebuilt my bike I was left with this piece of rubber,pic attached,I have no idea where it goes,Anyone any idea,thanks in advance.
omg - how to discribe in english ... i will try
look where the Chain goes behind the Frame plate on the left side. there ist a horizontal Steel tube. on this place is a Chain Guuard for the inrunning chain.
mor me it looks like this Chain guard
