Pink Wire From Ingiter

As part of my rebuild/mod I have decided to rewire the entire bike. This includes an M-Unit from Motogadget and new control which I will update in my build thread. What I want to know is, if anyone knows what the Pink wire next to the two yellow stator wires is for? It goes from the igniter to the wire block for the speedometer lights but is not terminated. I have posted the diagram from the Hayne's manual, but I confirmed that the same wire exists on the original service manual as well. This is US model.

No worries, I think I am going to just unwrap the loom and trace the wire. I'll let you know what I find out.

Probably irrelevant info at this point but that’s a dead lead - doesn’t do anything. Had a similar question I posted on kzrider for my 550.

That pink wire corresponds to the grey wire in the thread -
