Re: tank sealer lifting
I recently purchased a 1990 Zephyr 550 and after getting it home and having the carbs leak, I realized the tank, which had been coated with an off-white sort of epoxy, was the cause. The coating was coming off in large flakes and small pieces with rust underneath the coating. I pulled out the large...

Re: tank sealer lifting
Does anyone have any positive experience with tank sealer? I have a spare tank that is fairly rusty inside and would like to save it if possible. I assume if the sealer is lifting the prep work was not good enough? Any tips on makes, method etc would be useful. Thanks

OMG! What a mess. At least no one was hurt. You had done a lot of work on the Zephyr. Hopefully your wife was not too shaken up.

Re: Jrkk's 1100 cafe build
Hi, how do you generate the .stl files?
I know 3D printing could be great for making parts like side panels etc, but was not sure how you would generate an accurate .stl image. I realise also then the bigger the part, the more expensive the 3D printer would be. Interesting technology

Re: Plug Caps and Plugs?
I checked my Kawasaki workshop manual and this aligns with the handbook, so the Haynes manual is at odds with the spec by Kawasaki. Incidentally my C3 and C4 both have the resistor plugs (I have not change these yet), so have previous owners used Haynes guidelines? I would expect Kawasaki to be corr...
